Cantare Choir is open to all who like to sing, beginning with those in the fifth grade through all adult members of St. Stephen. Our choir is large enough that we can sing full SATB anthems, but small enough that we can really get to know each other.
The St. Stephen Cantare Choir sings at various times throughout the year, including holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday. Practice is on Thursday evenings September through May at 7:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
With a varied repertoire, there is sure to be some songs you will love to sing!!
Men of the congregation who like to sing are welcome to join our Male Chorus. Practice is held at 6:30pm on Thursdays, September through May.
Every Sunday at the second service, St. Stephen offers contemporary worship. We have been blessed with talented musical leaders to assist with services. If you are musically inclined, either vocally or instrumentally and would like to be a part of our Contemporary Worship Leader team, please contact the church office at 248.673.6621 for additional information!
Want to make beautiful music but can’t sing or play an instrument? If you can hold the bells, move your arms and count to four, you can learn to play the handbells!
